MEET THE PASTOR

PASTOR JOSIAH WAMBUA

Pastor Josiah Wambua has faithfully led Bethel Baptist Church as Senior Pastor for nearly 16 years. He and his wife, Esther, are blessed with two wonderful children, Hannes and James. Family is at the heart of Pastor Josiah's life, and their support strengthens his ministry.

With a Doctorate, Master's, and Bachelor's degree from credible institutions in the United States, Pastor Josiah also serves as an administrator at the Independent Baptist College of Ministry. His passion for God’s Word is reflected in the books, magazines, and commentaries he has written on various books of the Bible.

A man with a burden for missions and church planting, Pastor Josiah is committed to spreading the Gospel far and wide, leading Bethel Baptist Church with vision, love, and a deep passion for the Kingdom of God.

What to expect

WHAT TO EXPECT

+ Will I stick out as a first-time visitor?

Not at all! We promise not to embarrass our visitors. In fact, we like to make our visitors feel at home by offering them refreshments after the service.

+ What if I don't know the songs?

You most likely will. But if you don't, that is no problem. You can hum along or just listen and soon you will be singing along.

+ Can I bring my whole family?

Yes, please! We love families. There is something for everyone—whether you’re 5 or 105. Plus, kids have their own fun time in Sunday school.

+ How long will the sermon be?

Time flies when you are engaged in the Word of God. Expect 40 to 60 minutes of practical, Bible-based teaching that you can apply to your life.

+ What should I wear?

Your Sunday best outfit is always a great choice. Either way, we will be happy to meet you.

+ Will there be accessible parking?

Absolutely. Whether you plan to cycle, drive or even fly in, we have free parking that is accessible to all. We also have wheelchair-friendly parking and entrances to make sure everyone can come to church.
