Our History

Every church has a story, and ours is one of God’s grace and faithfulness.

Bethel Baptist Church began with a simple desire: to bring the truth of God’s Word to the people of [your town/region]. From those small beginnings, God has blessed and grown our church into the family it is today.

Our Beginnings

In [year founded], a group of believers gathered with a burden to see a Bible-preaching church established in this community. With prayer and faith, Bethel Baptist Church was born. The early days were filled with challenges, but also with joy as people came to Christ and families were strengthened in the Lord.

From the very start, God used the faithful labor of missionary preachers who came to share the Gospel and lay the foundation for the work. These men of God invested their time, prayers, and teaching so that a strong, Bible-believing church could take root and flourish.

Growth Through the Years

As the years passed, Bethel Baptist Church continued to grow in faith and outreach. Through the preaching of God’s Word, missions, youth programs, choir ministry, and community service, the church became a light in this community. Each chapter of our history reflects God’s guiding hand and the dedication of both missionaries and local believers.

Leadership

Since [year], Pastor Josiah Wambua has faithfully served as the pastor of Bethel Baptist Church. With nearly two decades of ministry, Pastor Wambua has led with a heart for God’s Word, missions, and church planting. He is supported by his wife Esther and their children, Hannes and James.

Today

Bethel Baptist Church continues to be a place where faith and family come together. We are thankful for the past, but our eyes are on the future—trusting God to keep using our church to reach souls, train leaders, and send missionaries for His glory.
